I was recommended this book by the MOM, Barbara, of one of the authors. We work out together at a local gym and since she knows I am a former school counselor and founder of a local writers' group, she thought I might enjoy The Crazy Club Gets It Started. She was RIGHT! This is an adorable, well written, beautifully illustrated book for K-4 students! I highly recommend this book, possibly the series, for classroom teachers, guidance counselors, and health teachers who want to foster discussions around bullying and friendship. I also think art teachers, who want a theme along with caricature-drawing-introduction, may find this book a fun way to get students started. It is a quick read, not too heavy with the bullying aspect but gets the point across in a positive way which will not overly weigh students down. The characters are likable and real, their facial expressions add greatly to this feeling. I am on the site today to purchase the first two books in this series (so I can return the loaned copy to Barbara, plus I want to add these to my small, personal children's library).Sincerely,

I think it is a great book for grade school children! I really like the story line and how all the children in the story are such good friends and helped each other. My grand children loved reading it and I can't wait to get them the next one!
having never changing schools growing up, but having had friends that did, i have heard how hard it is. The way it was handled in this book , i think most young girls can relate and learn from it. I did have alot of crazy friends though!
I didn't even need to know what this book was about to know I wanted to read it with my niece. With "Crazy Club" in the title and the adorable illustrations on the front, I knew this would be a perfect children's book. The Crazy Club Gets Its Start is a great children's chapter book that is not only fun for kids but teaches them as well. This book was well written with relatable characters and important lessons. I would recommend this book to parents or teachers with kids who are trying to work on their reading skills or just want to read a fun story. I thoroughly enjoyed this book and am looking forward to the rest of this children's series!
I have been looking for a great children's chapter book to read with my 8-year-old sister to inspire her to read, and this is it! She loves the title, The Crazy Club and the lessons taught are presented in a fun way so she doesn't even realize they are lessons. We are hooked on these books and will continue buying all of them. The content is simple enough for her to grasp but not so simple where she doesn't have to try. It helps her improve without making her frustrated. Keep the children's books coming Crazy Club!

This is a wonderful book about friendship, teamwork and bullying and how to handle it. The writing is smart and treats the child reading it with thoughtful respect. It is also a lot of fun. This book should be assigned reading in all elementary schools!
